What is welfare work?
We realized that our staff’s being happy counts when we were pursuing happiness of users at our facility.
Social Welfare Corporation Kotobukikai was established in 1973 (the same year when Ichiro, a former Major League Baseball player, was born!) and its first facility, the Special Elderly Nursing Home Ukaigawaso, opened in Okayama in 1974.
Back then, there were a few special elderly nursing homes in Okayama. Kotobukikai has been engaged in elderly care since then. As time passed, we operated more facilities not only for elderly welfare but also for child welfare, such as nursery schools.
We welcome the new era, Reiwa. We are in need of more human resources so as to be able to further contribute to welfare. Having worked hard with such passion, we have some facilities whose staff have had no resignations for a year, which is unusual in the nursing care business. Why don’t you come to hear our story?
We would like to pursue the happiness of users and their families together with assistance by candidates to work for Kotobukikai. We aim to be a corporation that cares for the happiness of employees and facilitates employees’ work for many years to come by sharing joy, smiling at each other, understanding the worries and sadness of others, having fun together, and talking together.

Social Welfare Corporation Kobobukikai (hereinafter referred to as “Kotobukikai”) shall decide the privacy policy as follows to promote privacy protection by establishing a system of privacy protection and keeping all employees informed of the importance and activities of privacy protection.

Management of personal information
Kotobukikai shall take necessary measures for maintaining a secure system, developing a management system, and training employees as well as implementing safety measures to manage personal information carefully for the purpose of maintaining correct and the latest customers’ personal information and preventing unauthorized access to, loss of, damage to, changes to, or leaks of personal information.
Purpose of use of personal information
Personal information obtained from customers shall be used for emails or sending brochures to customers, our business information, or answering questions from customers.
Prohibition of disclosure/offering of personal information to a third party
Kotobukikai shall properly manage personal information obtained from customers and not disclose personal information to a third party except for the following cases.
When a customer has consented to do so
When we disclose personal information of a customer to a vendor to which we entrust our business in order to execute a service requested by a customer
When necessary by law
Personal information safety measures
Kotobukikai shall take all possible security measures for maintaining correct personal information and securing safety.
Inquiry of identity verification from himself/herself
When a customer wishes to inquire/correct/delete his/her own personal information, we confirm that the request is from the person himself/herself before dealing with the request.
Conforming to laws and norms and reviewing this policy
Kotobukikai shall conform to applicable Japanese laws and other norms of personal information we have and properly review the content of this policy to improve it.
