- Q1.Why did you decide to work for Kotobukikai?
- A1.When I had an interview, the interviewer explained the details of the facility to me. A Filipino staff member was working here, so I, as a Filipino, felt relieved. Then I thought that I would like to work for Kotobukikai.
- Q2.What is the most impressive episode about your work?
- A2.The happiest time is when residents say “Thank you” to me. I often talk to residents, so many of them remember my name or appreciate my assistance which makes me very happy. I need to make sure of the safety of the residents. I always execute my duties with a sense of tension because small mistakes can lead to accidents when assisting bathing, transferring a resident to a wheelchair, or assisting eating meals.
- Q3.How is working atmosphere at Kotobukikai?
- A3.Staff at Hirai Genki work very hard. There are many employees with bright personalities and good senses of humor. I am a foreigner. Whenever I have difficulties with my life or work, I consult with my coworkers. They consider my problems with me or teach me what to do, so I enjoy working with them. I feel that the working environment in this company is very good.
- Q4.What would you like to try?
- A4.My goal right now is to obtain the qualification to be a certified care worker. I also want to work the night shift.

- A5.All of the staff here are kind, so you do not have to worry about working here. I know you may have anxiety at first, but try your best with a definite goal in mind and don’t give up.
